Georgian / Napoleonic Royal Navy Midshipman's Fighting Dirk, Sold

In good overall condition, a Napoleonic / Georgian British RN midshipman's fighting dirk.

A Royal Naval midshipman's "fighting" dirk because of the longer plain blade length (for a dirk) and the blade construction (for strength).

The 15 inch blade is aged, has some rust spots and a steady patina throughout for sure. Blade firm in ivory grip, the cross guard and pommel wiggle (have some looseness).
