1950's Communist Chinese Army Sabre / Sword, Sold

In good condition, an authentic 1950's Communist Chinese Army Sabre.

We guarantee this is an authentic 1950's Communist Chinese Army Sabre, not one of the modern reproductions (sad but true, Chinese fakers now even fake these). You can tell by the leather thumb loop inside the guard; this one has lost the main leather section, but you can still see the retainer and root inside the guard.

79cm blade is in very good condition, some wear (scuffing / scratching) but not much, and is firm in the hilt. The hilt also good, as is the grip. Scabbard very good though paint loss. The sword sheathes and draws well. Matching serial numbers to blade and scabbard (219914).
