Weyersberg, Sold |
In very good condition (caveat: some small chips to wooden grip),
a WW2 German Luftwaffe Officer's Sword, by Paul Weyersberg &
Co of Solingen.
A very good condition iconic World War Two German Luftwaffe officer's
sword.
The 71.8 cm blade is in very good condition, only a small amount
of scuffing and firm in the hilt. Some small chips to the wooden
grip, the twisted grip wire all OK. Some loss to the pommel's swastika
browning, but overall good for age. The scabbard is also good, some
scuffing / denting but not much. The sword sheathes and draws well.
A well above average example and only £too late, now sold
- original sales prive divulged for small fee. Please quote item
reference J14 (1095). Further / full sized images available upon
