In very good condition, a Shinto period Japanese Wakizashi, unsigned, probably Musashi Province.

Shinto Period Japanese Wakizashi, Ko-Gunome-Midare Ha Hamon, Mokume Grainimage I71 1

Sold Item Notice

The Ko-Gunome-Midare Ha Hamon evident mostly one side of the blade is very energetic. There is also a good small mokune grain, indicating the blade is from a smith of the Nagasone School in Musashi Province, circa 1650-1700. Some scuffing, but the blade is in a reasonable state of polish, again, especially one side.
