1872 Model US Cavalry Officer's Sabre / Sword, sold

In fair to good condition, an 1872 Model US Cavalry Officer's Sabre / Sword.

Quite a rare sword to find this side of the "pond".

The 33 3/4 inch plain blade is in good condition, some age of course, firm in the hilt. The hilt is damaged but complete and could possibly be corrected. There is some wear / small loss of grip cover. Scabbard is in good order. Sword sheathes and draws pretty well.
