The 32 inch blade is covered with patina spots and some pitting, but the etching is still quite clear. The blade is firm in the hilt; the hilt equally patinated. The fishskin grip mostly sound to good, two small patches missing one side. The twisted grip wire bindings are good, just a little waywardness here and there. The leather field service scabbard is generally sound to good. The sword a little loose in the scabbard.

A very scarce sword. Further / full sized images available upon request. Please quote reference number D74.
