US Cavalry Sabre Model 1840 ("Wristbreaker") (Sold)

An 1840 model "wristbreaker" US cavalry sword / sabre in very good condition, with scabbard, by US maker P. S. Justice of Philadelphia.

It is rare to find this model of cavalry sword in such good condition. An authentic 1840 Wristbreaker US Cavalry Sabre complete with original scabbard and made by P. S. Justice of Philadelphia.

The blade is very clean and firm in the hilt, the leather grip and grip wire in tight and good condition, the sword sheathes and unsheathes well in and out of the scabbard which is also in well above average condition. Further pictures available upon request.
