A great example with black fishskin grip and quality patterned leather scabbard. Comes complete with details of original officer owner, his family and the Durham Light Infantry. Etched with his name and regiment, dated 4th June 1915.

The 31 1/4 inch blade is in overall good condition but with a steady patina throughout, and firm in the hilt. The steel hilt in very good order. The black fishskin grip and associated grip wire bindings are very good. The beautifully made scabbard in aged and worn but overall very good condition. The sword sheathes and draws well.
