A typical 1780 pattern US War of Independence era Georgian British infantry officer's sword, spadroon.

The 29 inch blade has been shined (no etching or maker name visible), has a slight bend to the blade (very slight - normal) and is firm in the hilt. The hilt is in overall good condition. The fluted hardwood grip is worn but still good. Who knows, maybe it was once in the former American colony!
