Sales enquiries

No markings make this difficult to identify but the fat grip is typical of a hussars sword carried by Prussian controlled Polish Hussars in the late 18th Century. The Montmenrcy type blade is typically Germanic.

The 33 5/8 inch blade is in good condition but with no visible markings, and firm in the hilt. The hilt in good shape, as is the somewhat crude looking Polish / Hungarian style grip, which is actually in good order.

A very rare sword; yours for £(too late, sorry - original sales price available for small fee). Please quote item reference I98 (1111). Further / full sized images available upon request.
