1889 Model WW2 Imperial Japanese Army NCO's Sword, sold.

In very good condition, a WW2 Japanese NCO's sword (1899 pattern AKA 32 year type).

A very good example and still sharp. These swords were used by many departments of the Imperial Japanese military including police, cavalry and infantry NCO's. This one has a 32 1/2 inch blade, serial number 83091, so an early to mid war item that probably saw action. 4 Canon ball Tokyo arsenal mark to the hilt. All in good shape.
