Sales enquiries

With "Slava Moskva" (Glorious Moscow) to the underside of the langet and no Tsar's royal cipher to the hilt (post-abdication / start of the revolution), this is a scarce post February / March 1917 1909M Russian Dragoon Officer's Sabre, with the Canon "Serdovskya" factory Trademark to the sought after twin-fullered blade. The 1909M was replaced in that same year, so this is a rare find.

The 31 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, period sharpened, some slight cutting edge "damage", form in the hilt. The hilt and grip generally good but with signs of wear / damage. The tightening pommel nut needs to go past center to fully tighten blade, but it does.

A chance to own a scarce piece of WW1 / 1917 Russian Revolution history for only £750. Please quote item reference AB50. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 0102-1m (1.770).
