Guaranteed authentic*. In excellent condition, the 25.8 cm blade with "Carl Eickhorn Solingen" and squirrel holding sword trademark is near mint. Everything very, very good. The sheath a little aged; should clean up if required. The photos make the mother of pearl type grips look a little more orange than they actually are (the grips are renowned for aging orange); one grip is actually nearly original pearl white. The sheath is engraved on side to the original owner, "Von Altern"; I have no doubt this man is researchable. And yes, I 100% guarantee this dagger is authentic*.

Look, unnamed, less collectible Alcoso made daggers that are nowhere near the condition of this one sell for $16000+ in the USA. This is better than the ones we have seen anywhere else. It is therefore worth every penny of £xxxx (too late, now sold - original sales price revealed for small fee). Full sized / additional photos available upon request. Item reference number is A92 (468).

*Authenticity guaranteed. Terms & conditions apply. Please see Sales details page.
