Sales enquiries

This pattern of curved bladed sword was first introduced around 1775 and very few good examples exist today. This one is particularly nice courtesy of the dragon etching on the blade, as in St George and the Dragon.

The 24 3/4 inch curved blade typical of the era is in overall very good order, the etching of course aged, a pleasing patina throughout the blade, firm in the hilt. The fluted hardwood grip a little loose, as to be expected, but in overall good though worn condition. A well above average example and well worth £? (too late, now sold) . Further / full sized pictures available upon request. My item reference number 943 (433).
